My Philosophy
The beginning and foundation of every therapeutic relationship must be that each life is equally valuable and important, with each of us bringing diverse experiences and insights to this world we share. In the words of the late Ram Dass, "We are all here to walk each other home." The field of psychology as such is relatively new in human history, but we have been asking about the meaning of life and how to live it since the dawn of human consciousness. It's a beautiful thing to add positivity to another person's life, and support them in achieving a greater sense of clarity, personal sovereignty, and wellness. This is my hope and goal with everyone I work with. We all experience ups and downs, yet we are also all moving forward with a new chance every day to create a different and more positive experience for ourselves and the people we love. I'm here to support you in doing that in the way that's right for you at this point in your life.
To your health, well-being, and success,
Juniper Quin

Biography
Juniper is a counselling therapist with over a decade of experience facilitating courses and 1-to-1 work at the intersection of physical, mental, and emotional health. She is passionate about developing evidence- and strengths-based programs that empower people from all walks of life with the knowledge and skills to enjoy life more, and independently increase their resiliency in the face of uncertainty and change. From 2015-2017, she was one of the first practitioners to offer death doula services in Vancouver, BC, and is known for developing Grief Integration Yoga: a 6-week course for somatically processing bereavement. Since 2017 she has immersed herself in the work of Mohammad Ali Taheri, which led her to re-orient her career to center the use of Taheri Consciousness Fields (TCFs) to enhance emotional and mental regulation, as well as insight and overall quality of life. In 2024, Juniper developed the TCF-Assisted Counselling Therapy (TCF-ACT) approach based on Taheri’s principles, as well as the TCF-ACT for Addiction Recovery program, which continues to evolve alongside current research. Juniper has worked on crisis lines and residential addiction recovery facilities, and is currently pursuing research in TCF applications in the field of psychology at Simon Fraser University. Juniper is an Associate Addiction Counsellor (AAC) with the Canadian Addiction Counsellors Certification Federation (CACCF) and is currently in the process of qualifying as a Registered Professional Counsellor Candidate (RPC-C) with the Canadian Professional Counsellors Association (CPCA).
