Heal and elevate yourself with this sweet combination of Kundalini and Yin Yoga. Each class opens with a Kundalini kryia (set of exercises created for a specific therapeutic application). The kriya is then followed by a soothing Yin sequence, which offers a deeply relaxing and meditative experience. Each workshop includes a question and answer period at the beginning and end, giving students an opportunity to learn about the origins of Kundalini and Yin Yoga, and the benefits of blending approaches to find one's own personal best practice.
Each Yindalini session is a complete, integrative yogic practice that includes an intention-setting, meditation, mantra, mudra, asana, and pranayama component.
Students need not be familiar with either Kundalini or Yin yoga, but should prepare themselves to practice with an open mind.
It is recommended that students don't eat for 1-2 hours before practice, as some exercises become unnecessarily uncomfortable and less effective on a full stomach.
