Soul Passage: Bedside Meditation
In instances where the Death Journeyer is not supported by existing cultural and/or family traditions during their final days and moments (or would like an additional soothing and guiding presence), Juniper's promise is to - first and foremost - be present in a spirit of patient compassion. This means holding a calm, peaceful space in the room, and to embody these principles in words and demeanor, with respect for the sacred nature of this time. Juniper is also skilled in, and available to facilitate according to the Death Journeyer's wishes, bedside meditations and practices that aid in 'conscious dying' - many of which are intended to guide individual consciousness gently out of its physical form in order to merge with divine/universal consciousness. These meditations and visualizations can be practiced on the deathbed or as part of anyone's daily mindfulness routine, at any stage of life. Many who experience these meditations both in their daily life and in their final days find them to be very reassuring, helpful aids in ongoing self-examination and throughout the active dying process.
