If you are currently in crisis, call the national crisis hotline at 9-8-8, or go to the nearest hospital if you’re concerned about your immediate safety.
Juniper Quin, AAC
Hello and welcome!
I work with individuals, dyads (romantic partners, friends, colleagues, etc.), and groups on topics related to mood disorders, interpersonal and communication problems, addiction and unwanted habits, and life-purpose/career counselling. Mental health exists on a spectrum; you may benefit from counselling regardless of whether you meet diagnostic criteria.
My counselling approach is integrative, meaning that I am trained in multiple modalities and use the approaches that are the most interesting to you, as well as most likely to be effective. My approach is also ecological, meaning that I consider all factors that may be impacting you currently. This can include your family and medical history, current relationships and support networks, and access to resources, in addition to your personal values and goals.
I deeply respect the trust that is placed in me by each person I work with, and enjoy learning about diverse perspectives, experiences, and goals. While therapy will sometimes be challenging, I believe that it should generally be an enjoyable process of self-exploration, leading to increased clarity and optimism for the future.
If you’d like to chat about how I can support you, book a consultation call. This call is free and confidential.
Please note that I do not provide psychological assessments, diagnoses, nor prescribe medication at this time. If you require these services, speak with your primary care provider or a doctor receiving walk-in patients.
